What Is The Load-bearing Range Of Revolving Door Hinges?

The load range of the rotary door hinge varies greatly depending on type, material and design, from 25 kg to more than 3,000 kg. The appropriate model should be selected according to the material, size and application scenario of the door. Here are the load ranges and typical applications of different types of hinges:
1.Light-Duty Hinges (25-80kg)
Uses: Lightweight indoor revolving doors, glass partition door, small display cabinets.

V. Selection Recommendations
Determine Door Parameters:
Measure the weight, dimensions (width x height x thickness) and materials (glass, wood, metal, etc.) of the door.
For example, a 2-meter-high, 1-meter-wide solid wood door weigh about 80 kg and have a rated bearing capacity of at least 100 kg on their hinges.
Appropriate Application Scenarios:
High frequency use (such as mall revolving doors): Selection of stainless steel or cold rolled steel with ≥ 30% capacity.
Humid environments (such as bathrooms and kitchens): 304 stainless steel or zinc alloy plating hinges preferred.
Lightweight requirements (such as aircraft doors): Choose aluminum alloy or engineering plastic hinges. Verify hinge performance:
Check hinges surface smooth and flawless, electroplating layer evenly distributed (suitable for cold-rolled steel plate).
Test the feel of opening and closing: highquality hinges should open and close smoothly with gentle damping (e.g. nylon damping and noise reduction rods).
Verify structural strength: the hinge is thick and the shaft is fastened to the hinge without any adhesion.
